EXTRACTING SYSTEMS DATA & ENCHANCED REPORTING

The Problem

The clients system reported customers sales orders in numerical order sequence rather than goods ready for despatch.


They also lacked additional notes such as customers on hold. Goods despatch found it difficult to identify which products were ready to despatch without having to scroll up and down a computer screen, and contacting other departments to understand why products couldn’t be despatched, resulting in delays to shipping orders, last minute changes, errors and bottlenecks occurring at month end, frustrated team members and unhappy customers.

The Solution

Clarity created an airport style departure board.


This extracted data from the clients existing system and automatically updated every 5 minutes, with orders now listed in priority of those ready for despatch, with the opportunity to add special instruction notes. Clarity conducted an end to end review, this not only allowed us to detail the current system, it showed how various team members perceived the problems, highlighting issues with communications, processes and systems.
